It is a organised PGA event for Golf Professionals to play throughout the winter, as part of a PGA Winter Series Order of Merit, which does include the qualifying spots for Dorset and Wiltshire teams for the PGA National Inter-County Championships.

There is likely to be 50% of the Professionals having a tea/coffee (the odd one or two may have some breakfast) before play so a 10.00am start for the bar will be fine for an 11.00am tee time. Most Pros will have a beer or tea/coffee after golf, as there is a small presentation (agreed to be held in the 19th - EC) for the winners (no prizes, just confirmation of the winning places so who gets paid). There isn't much demand for food after the golf, as most Pros will need to get back on the road or to work swiftly afterwards.
